Sierra Nevada Mountain Print

from $32.00

A classic backpacking destination in the Eastern Sierra, Thousand Island Lake sits at an elevation 9,833 feet. From an overview above the lake, short, golden, alpine grasses under small granite boulders make up the foreground of the composition. The center of the image is Thousand Island Lake, aptly named for it's many small granite islands peppered across the blue surface of the water. Beyond the lake banner peak rises 3k feet above the water.
